Eligibility requirements

Those who satisfy the requirements under both ① and ②below

  2. 2High school graduates or holders of comparable schooling background

Passport Copies

  • Copies of passports of the applicant and his/her parents (or ID card of the relevant country) to be submitted
  • The passports should have a remaining validity of one year or longer as of the day the classes commence
  • Those who are already staying in Korea should submit a copies of their alien registration card (front and back) as well

High School (Expected) Graduation Certificate

One of the following

  1. 1 Apostille authentication (those from Apostille member countries)
  2. 2Original documents certified by the Korean consul stationed in the applicant’s country or its consul stationed in Korea

    For Chinese applicants, documents certified by China Higher Education Student Information (CHSI), Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, should be submitted.

    Applications who submit the high school ‘expected’ graduation certificate should submit the high school graduation certificate later.

High school transcript

Original and notarized translation copy (English or Korean)

Documents proving family relations

  • Documents proving the nationality and family relations of the applicant and his/her parents
  • Applicants from China: Original of Chinese household register (notarized copy of certificate of kinship when separated from parents’ household)
  • Applicants from countries other than China: Documents proving family relations

Certificate of bank account balance

  • Original certificate of savings account balance deposited in the name of the applicant or his/her parents or financial guarantor (8 million Korean won or more)
  • The account balance should have been maintained for over six months and a conditional payment suspension period should be specified.

The certificate of account balance must be submitted according to the Korean Ministry of Justice guidelines. Certain additional documents should be submitted as required.

Applicants from China: A certificate of bank account balance newly issued within the last one month should be additionally submitted at the time of applying for entry visa.

Applicants from Vietnam: A certificate of savings deposit of overseas study funds (8 million won or more, deposited for one year or longer) should be submitted.

Documents proving financial support

  • Notarized English or Korean translation of financial support documents such as proof of employment, income, and properties held by the financial guarantor

Additional documents may be requested as required for verification during the document review.

Information concerning expenses

  • Application fee: 50,000 won (non-refundable)
  • Tuition fee: 1,000,000 won per semester
  • Insurance premium: 50,000 won or so semiannually
  • Dormitory fees
    • 930,000 won (6 months, twin sharing)
    • 810,000 won (6 months, quad sharing)
    • Exclusive of meal charges
  • Bank account for wire transfer: The Institute’s bank account will be notified at the time the admitted students are announced.

    The students will shoulder all expenses incurred after their arrival in or entry into Korea. [Examples: Insurance premiums (national health insurance, foreign students’ accident insurance), textbooks, fees for alien registration, etc.]
