  • QHow do I apply for admission to a foreigner course at Seoyeong University?
    AThe University offers two types of programs: Korean language training programs and degree programs. The eligibility required for admission to the programs is as follows:
    • Eligibility for Korean language training program
      • Foreigners or overseas Koreans
      • Graduates of high school or holders of comparable schooling background
    • Eligibility for degree programs
      • Academic achievements: Graduated from a regular high school in Korea or abroad with both parents and the student being foreign nationals
      • Language proficiency: Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) level 2 or higher or completion of a comparable course
  • QWhat documents are required to apply for admission to the courses above?
    AAdmission application, high school diploma or graduation certificate, high school transcript, family relationship documents, certificate of bank account balance, etc. are required.   • QHow do I apply for admission?

  • QHow do I get to Seoyeong University after arriving in Korea with a visa?
    AUpon arriving at an international airport (Incheon, Gimhae, etc.) within the given entry period specified by the University, you can go to the University easily by using the free pick-up service provided based on prior notice. If you arrive after the designated period lapses, however, you will have to go to the University on your own.
  • QDo I need to register as a foreigner?
    AArticle 31 of the Immigration Act of Korea stipulates that a foreigner intending to stay in Korea for more than 90 days from the date of entry must register as an alien at the competent immigration and foreign affairs office. Foreigners studying at this University must apply for alien registration through the International Studies Institute.   • QHow do I apply for the TOPIK test, and where do I take the test?
    AAfter subscribing to membership for TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean - topik.go.kr), you should apply for the test on a first-come, first-served basis within the given period.   • QHow can I open a bank account and purchase a cell phone for use in Korea?
    AAfter receiving your Alien Registration Card, you can open a local bank account and get a cell phone by submitting the necessary documents, including your Alien Registration Card and proof of enrollment at this University.
